F69 invaded antartica and have spent days moving around taking outposts and not really achieving anything. Would you like to explain what you intended to achieve? It seemed like you were the ones on the defense, and you lost the most in these battles.

That battle happened for two reasons.

Gates are incredibly overpowered and have yet to be fixed
I was home, not at school, and my connection there can't really play the new client very well

I find it funny that you would gloat over winning a battle due to an incomplete game since when you think about it, all our losses were from one colony, my overhead is 1/3 of what it once was, your overheads stay high, so me replacing my army will be cheaper than you doing the same.

Happy hunting.

wow.. you dont sound like a sore loser at all.

Even if gates are overpowered, we all use them. most of your alliance was specifcally targeting them, i even recall seeing a cluster of about 6-7 gates all belonging to F69all with in around 8 ticks of each other. So dont implie in anyway that we were using an unfair advantage.

And we dont have to replace as much as you, and we dont have to use oil and energy to move our units back into position.

Sore loser? I lost half my army and killed almost as much as I lost from 3 separate players despite being outnumbered almost 3-1 due to the game not being complete.

Yes we have gates too, but they are overpowered in a defensive sense, not an offensive sense. We're the ones attacking.

Also, it only takes one gate jump to get units to the front for me.

It would be more noble of you to take credit when you do something unexpected, rather than just abusing the hell out of a game mechanic until it is fixed.

I think this battle in itself should put the Gate jamming capabilities to the forefront of the programmers...

Seriously, now that you can move all units at once in one second, it makes attacking gates almost suicide since they can't be jammed... There's no warning, all you can do is try to scan the gate seconds before you are to land, and if there are units you try and get your units turned and hope the game doesn't lag... :x

You are UNBELIEVEABLE!
Why won't you admit that F69 have well and truly bodged this up. You have done NOTHING exept move around, get hit by nukes, get killed and then several of your members appear to of pulled back. What exactly have you achieved? Considering the situation, only someone who had his own head so far up his own "" would say what you just said.

Sure, maybe gates are overpowered to the defender but what are we meant to do, not use them at all? Besides, certain things are meant to be more beneficial to the defender (Defense=gate, ion cannon)(offense=training base, radar, radar scan, radar jamming, nuke silos)... although nukes can be used either way its much more effective at offense, dont complain when tools for defense.... are used for defense!

I'm saying you're bragging over the abuse of an incomplete game mechanic. I wasn't going to say anything, but when you go out of your way to gloat on the forums regarding the game not being balanced yet I'm obviously going to set you straight. Don't forget you're the one that attacked us first. I don't know about everyone else, but I certainly killed more with my army than my army was worth.

Save the gloating for when you do something worth gloating about is all I'm saying.

We are not bragging, i am posting a topic saying how we are at war and i posted a battle report that was clearly going to get a response, and it did, a ridiculous response from you.

And we are not abusing and incomplete game mechmanic, we are utalising the current game mechanic. And if you know that attacking a gate is such a risk, then why do it? maybe the fact was that you were regrouping with the rest of your alliance who were getting more and more outnumbered?

In which case then it is your error and not the rules of the game's error

I already mentioned why the battle happened, we're not outnumbered by any means... if that were the case you'd simply attack us rather than defending. The battle happened because my browser at home could not refresh quick enough and by the time I saw the scan the tick had passed, I only got home about 10 minutes before the tick (thinking this would be enough time to double check with a scan)

I knew the risk, and have been asking for the ability to jam gates for weeks. Was simply a problem of not being able to open the events list on time (even after 3-4 refreshes)

If you're just here to inform the masses, where are the battle reports from before, or the maps indicating how much territory we've taken from you. No, you only post this one BR because you feel that it's worth bragging about, I'm just saying it's not.

Yes i know what you mean when you can't get it to load quick enough. My internet seems to change from 10meg to 0meg all the time lol. If you think thats bad.. when i first started playing the new client all i had at the time was a laptop with 256mb ram.. it just died completely lol.

And i just thought i would add.. about what you said earlier on how we started something or did something first :? , I have been on holiday for a while, i missed quite alot, i only got back the day that your relic arrived by antartica.
