I am not sure why you feel some of the Xi players are not trustworthy. Mutants always bring fear and distrust so most are used to this reaction though. We are just doing our part to make the world a friendlier place for now, and more tolerant.

This picture shows nothing. I would have figured it out faster had I not been gone for so long, but I remembered that you could toggle the visibility of certain things in the old client. I looked around the new client, and sure enough, you can do that here as well. He wasn't zoomed out far enough to see the blue radar halos, and he could have easily toggled off the hostile squads so it looked like he couldn't see my units moving.

Despite what I said before, Sun Tzu, you are a crafty little bugger. Touche.

AFK you make me laugh. If that was the case the little op near the guy and my squads would have been showing up as regular OP not "unkown" op. Sure I could toggle those on and off but then they would be either on or off.
