Gary and Psi suicided. A very inefficient battle, but guess it was because of mixed chassis and not enough squads, not to mention the ions. Oh well, we barely pulled it off :D I mean RUNx did.

Probably staying as is until colonies that need to be conquered are conquered. No need to end the round early while so many crystals lay around in enemy hands.

The second issue is simply me supporting Tekka in his flip flop to PALM. Tekka, Toast, Fox, and several other people including myself migrated from Kongregate in order to try one of the more difficult worlds. PALM and ND were originally paired together along with TOON as friendly alliances all trying to achieve the same goal. When Milan got banned, many of these people quit, especially in ND who started out as a slight threat but didn't have the heart to continue when their best player was banned. The few who decided to keep playing were forced to simmilate into other alliances. Tekka and Toast decided to join ARMT to continue fighting and try and better themselves. I can't honestly blame him for joining back with the alliance he originally alligned himself with. It might be inconvenient for RUN, but he tends to honor his word in these situations and at least he's finishing it out with the people he started.

I'm not 100% familiar with the politics of a .com world, especially one as chaotic and ridiculous as this e1 world, however, looking at this situation and knowing Tekka for so long, I can't say that I blame the man for going back to his roots when his alliance desides to crumble.

Thanks for the kind words Zbomb0808 ;)

You are correct, I could have done worse, I could have done better too. I could have taken up the offer of a certain player to give me reds to totally (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) ARM and ARMT over for reds.

I could have done many things, but I am not dishonorable. I fight with and for the team if I can. If I can no longer sustain that or do not see the point any longer, I do a tactical retreat. If that's dishonorobable, then so be it.

After I had quit ARMT, Tigran's final words to me on skype were 'shame on you tk'...
I found that a bit hard to swallow after all the time and effort i've put in to help him and his team. The everlasting phone calls/text messages i both recieved and have done myself to players when it was urgent.
But, whatever...

I decided to go back to my roots indeed and hopefully get away from the messed up politics, the backstabbing, the blatant cheats, and people calling in 'friends' (or brothers - lol - to harass the opponent relentlessly.

Friendships have been made and built over time in Kongreggate, that is true, although i would hope to think i made a couple of new friends on BD.Com too now. I may not have sat the whole journey out with them, but I did meet some, nice, interesting, and devoted players in this Era.

My time in ARMT was for the most part enjoyable, certainly at first, when things were still going well for us and activity was high.

When it became a nuke dodge/army dodge/spy lockdown dodge, it became frustrating because our activity was too low. And I started resenting having to call/text everyone up all the time to move. As I'm sure other guys hated it too. (SoF comes to mind - he was king)

I did not have any hatred towards any specific alliances or players when i started E1 (a clean slate so to speak - zomg yes i was a virgin hah!)

.. How fast things can sometimes change. :)

Anyhow, sorry for a bit of a rant ;)

Take care y'all!

~Tekka

Nothing wrong in wanting to quit mid era if it becomes more of a burden than fun. Nothing wrong either if you told your alliance, and moved to another alliance to take it easy. We always let people go with their crystals and not (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) about it.

As for Tigran, am not surprised. You should have known better, and some players in my alliance do know better having played with/against him for over 5 years. Using people as much as one wants and then trying to shame them when they wanna quit is not courtesy after all. Your opinions might differ, but whatever. Take care.
