You're welcome to suggest better ways to deal with this exploit and I'll happily code it into the game. I assume you read the thread, several ideas were suggested, but the easiest one would be: If there are squads that are parked on an outpost owned by a kicked member, and someone attacks that outpost, treat it just like any other time more than 1 alliance clashes at a neutral outpost. That's exactly what it has become, a neutral outpost. Treat them like attackers to the outpost just like the enemy that is attacking.

The only thing to be tweaked is your own squads don't fight each other. Quote: Such as that nuke involving WAW from E1 they got compensated for being injured from the rogue nuke. Actually we didnt.

How about we allow 'floating squads'
and they wont defend the target they sit on (like in the old times)
instead, floating squads will lose 1 unit per tick.
forcing their owner to get them somewhere friendly (like in the old client when you had 0 food)

I don't like the losing 1 unit per tick.
Perhaps we could have some system where OPs automatically transfer ownership if someone else has units on it but the kicked player doesn't.

Kevin Why do you care? You will never be offline enough to lose many units But okay, ownership change would be an idea too. Just more difficult to realize in my opinion.

lol, just because it might not affect me does not mean it would be a good idea. I try to think about balance not just how it personally affects me.

okay I don't know the old server thingy in that case, but what if they are tanks, veh and infantry mixed from 3 members. Loosing 1 unit means ...... ?!
