Exactly bud, that's why I'm laughing about the situation but also waiting for Andrew to read his in-game mail to see if there is any compensation.

Funny though seeing my own squads kill each other. Joe's were just armored conc anyway wouldn't have done any damage to my ranged incoming.

I dont think you will get comped for a squad or two, but this definitely needs to be fixed. How can a persons squad attack him? lol

It's 3 full squads and a few extra, which mean a lot especially when we were in a war at the time and still in another one now.

Resources lost from a bug should be comped regardless.

When you attack a op that doesn't belong to your alliance, the battle will take place between all incoming units against all the units on the op, regardless if it was your own units or not. That makes perfect sense, not a bug.

That doesn't make sense when the units on that neutral outpost are your squads. If anything, your squads both incoming and the ones sitting there should fight together as one. Not attack each other.

If that is the way the previous bug where squads used to float was fixed, then its a dirty fix. Its not logical.

so if i was in an alliance put 50squads on a member, leave alliance and attack with 1 squad.. i would basically have 51squads attacking? ZZZzzz.... :ugeek:

Yes. Your squads shouldn't defend against you. If you were on a gate with 50 squads, and your alliance member was returning with his 50 squads along with say 10 of yours, and say he left your alliance, then your 50 on the gate would fight you squads as well. That doesn't make any sense. Your 60 squads should fight his 50.

How I see it, if you leave 50 squads on a ex-members outpost and you send 10 squads to attack that outpost those 10 squads should attack and afterward the 50 squads are then matched with the other 10 making 60. Those 50 should not participate in the battle as that is in my eyes exploitable and that they should either wait until outpost is re-taken or is moved to an allied outpost then resent out.

Regardless though your squads should NEVER attack your own units no matter what the circumstances. That's like nuking yourself but even dumber.
