Sub abuse is a tactic and for this reason why I don't hate it.

Use your loyal friends to make subs or use diplomacy to form subs. Use them to waste their resources, instead of your resources to help you conquer this era.

Once the sub is too weak or inactive, the leader can simply rejoin the main alliance, join another sub, or make a new one. It's how the world works.

What I hate about subs is the person who randomly ask you to become his sub. Everytime I'm asked that, I remind myself the reason why players make sub alliance. I rather have my whole clan be conquered then become a sub. Even if you said yes, they ask you to change your clan name and tag. So that means they disrespect your clan name.

In short, I hate the abuser, but not the abuse.

I actually JUST had that happen on F4 and turned the opportunity down... so I kinda understand where you're coming from, embarrassing as that may be! :oops:

I likewise felt the offer of becoming a sub, though offered by a good friend, was a direct assault on the integrity of my own alliance's name, which has gone through a lot and I am very proud of.

Let's encourage Sub abuse!!!
