Fast to make after a big battle and you can actually make and send during a battle and it seem like you have an endless army til you lose it all at once :p

But tanks do seem almost unstopabble at times. Pros know it's not the same to see 600 inf coming than to see 600 tanks coming. At 600 inf, you can hold with 20~ squads. With 600 tanks? If you only have 20 squads... run, just run!!!

But really, tanks do work to confuse lesser players: they will most likely underestimate the difference, and it's really good in the middle of an era: at the start, it's easy to counter with full anti-tank vehicles against tanks, while having them too late in the era could also let other alliances get ready with anti-tank vehs. This isnt terrible (in fact, it happens to every build you choose xD) but for tanks, having them in the middle of the era probably sets your oponents in disarray: usually people keep the same ammount of units against every chasis; this doesnt provide equal defense though, as tanks are worth more than inf, thus a tank army will be much more effective than an inf army against it... Still, most people don't use tanks, which is why this type of build is acceptable, but it's not equally prepared for all 3 chassis types. So, in the end, tanks have a small edge for being so exclusive xD

It is true that 600 tanks can be intimidating but you have to think. An Inf builder will have more than 600 inf by the time a tank builer will have 600 tanks. Granted a booster can get up to 1k tanks. But a Inf booster can reach 2.5k inf. Also depending on the inf's exp. 1k inf with 250xp will take out 600 tanks with no xp. So it all boils down to xp of your units. This game is complex. So in all honesty you can't go wrong with any build.

What I suggest to new players is try a few rounds with all the chasis and see which one the prefer.

Tanks are ALOT easyier to get EXP

So if your inf army has 250, expect the tanks to have more

but tanks are very hard to use. Not all new players know how to keep their units alive long enough to gain xp. Most of them will just keep their units home, or sometimes suiciding into their conquerers.

I believe for new players, infantry is the best chassis. They don't need much attention for xp or nukes and spies like tank or vehicles, and it's fast to recruit also.

Well you have to also look out how much that person used their inf. The tank user may not have done anything but build. It's all about tactics. Any army can beat any army.

if u do nothing but just build, tanks are the worst chassis to play with.

the more active you are, the more powerful tank will be. Tanks' best advantage is in the xp field since it needs less xp to level up (compare to the same amount of soldiers in other chassis). And also, their worst disadvantage is that their high HP will make them very weak against spy and nukes (and also ion cannon), not to mention the slow recruitment speed.

this is why tank users must be active, constantly attacking newbies around for xp, dodging nukes and spend energy for spy protections.

Of course, sit-home-and-build tanks can defeat anyone given that the tanks are overwhelmed. But comparing the effectiveness, using infantry is always better.

This is true, that's why I didn't say it like it's a fact. My point with the tank army isn't that it's stronger objectively. We all know it's equal: I'm just saying, people don't take tanks too much into account. Random, your own post is a testament to this, as 2.5k inf < 1k tanks. Tanks are worth 3 inf, so that inf army is missing a good 500 inf to compare to the tank army. I know, it was just throwing numbers around, but it's still to show the psychological advantage of tanks. It's just as easy to prepare for enemy tanks than for enemy vehs and inf, if we set our minds straight: but we don't do it.

And again, this doesn't say tanks are better. Theyre worse at times and better at times. Me is just pointing out: they have as many good times as inf or vehs do. And nowadays, they've got even better chances than usual, if used properly, due to the people's mentality and current tendencies :ugeek:

Agreed Vault and thanks for realizing I was just throwing a number out there :P

Any one can beat any army especially if you know what your enemy's build is. That is the crucial part to any battle. You find out what their build is you know what to make to counter it. If you see a build with a little bit of everything. SMILE. Cause that person doesn't really know what to do haha. In that case it's always best to build the Anti veh and tank. And throw in the occasional anti inf unless Inf is the majority. But You get the point :)

Agreeded. Really, having this chassis or this other chassis wont help you win. It's not the chassis, it's who is building it, how, and when (aKa the player's skill). And I'm thinking that finding out the enemy's chassis is so easy: just a couple of scans, and there you go! That's why I usually support changing chassis in the midst of the era: it's not so easy to prepare against an entirely new chassis, and if you set your cards right, you might even be able to deceive your oponents about what your real chassis is.
