In my opinion basing all tests on a full ship vs full ship scenario is incomplete

you need to take in account (among other things) the cost of those ships

a 10/0/20 score a draw against a 15/15/0 but the 10/0/20 costed much more ressource to build than the 15/15/0 so its not really a draw.

With the ressources necessary to build a 10/0/20 you can build 20/20/0 and then the winner makes no doubt....

The reason for more armour is to endure round 1 without any damage touched.
my units order was
range/damage/armour
15/5/10
16/5/9
15/6/9
nd it was not the otherway.

The thing is realistically most of your battles will be when you completely outnumber your opponent. Why would you run around with an army where everytime you conquer a noob with ranged you lose a few units.

Example today i killed someone with 281 units all in two rounds of combat. If those were damage units 1) they would have less hp so even less of them would be left after 1 round 2) There wouldn't be enough of them left in round two to get through the armor.

If i was running damage and they were running damage sure i would win but i'd lose a lot more units

beats inf pro build for price when you get into higher numbers. obviously beats tank too because of bonus

This just made the game a lot more harder just did a war 5k units vs 1.5k both had 30% damage on each side and somehow we were not suppose to loose anything but we lost 800 units out of 5k we sent. :( good thing we build it back anyways can you make updates that makes it fair.

No, it draws with 9/21 armor/range while also costing more. There isn't enough armor to effectively defend your range in your build. You can't just claim something is the best without evidence.

However the set up u said is defeated by other setup. Try various formula's against my build. Never lose. Win or tie.
