Keep in mind that this is not the ONLY method of score right now. This is IN ADDITION to everything else that already existed, so it is not as though you cannot score at all. If you think about it, the huge scoring gaps we have had for some time can now be a little harder to maintain. This as a balance, does make sense if the goal is to keep things competitive.

This is exactly why #3 is on there. We thought it appropriate to balance out what we had to take away in tokens. Resources are not as easy to abuse as tokens are in that respect.


if #3 is to help non boosters, then it should only be available for non supporters, as they have such advantages already, and the blues add to their advantages, but still make it a bit better for non supporters

Yer so excluding my alliance, there's only 5 people I could kill on my world who doesn't have lower than half my power? explain to me how that is fair, I don't have the chance to score up, since there's so few players for me to actually score up from? o.O}

so saying all that joe, basically if added on right now, if i had 10k kills in one era, and 0 losses, and 300 power, 100 crystals, no relics, i have 5k score total, so using a variable X, then it would be 5000+(kills*X)
say x is .25
then it would be 5000(+10000*.25)
then 5000+2500 which = 7500

that would be my score correct?

I believe that's for the weaker players to challenge the nearly equal to higher players, which will encourage war...

plus, noobs only gain score when they can kill ur units. If you let ur units killed by noobs then... idk... maybe they deserve the score?

But wat I don't really like, which I already expressed to Seth, is the un-lose-able score which is really unfair.

Is that really such a bad thing?! I mean look at how the end of the eras pan out in the last year. You have the #1 alliance tens of thousands of points ahead in score from #2. This is not competition. This is consolidation of power with no competition at all in the end game! There has been a balance needed here for a long time.

Like I said, it is not as though this is the only means of scoring. This is to keep things competetive, as well as friendly to new players who have been getting bullied and run off by the elite players for a long time now.

Does anyone actually think this scoring system is going to stop the top players from killing all the noobs? So what if they get 2 score from the one armor they managed to kill while I conquer them...I still need conquers and they're still going to give me 5 metal per tick until they get deleted a week after they quit the game. There is 0 chance this new system is going to stop me from killing anyone. Ill take the increase in score from killing people my own level, but I really don't care if I get a 0 increase from killing newbies. The 500-600 newbs on the map every game are the primary source of income for the top 3 alliances in any game, we still have to kill/conquer them.

if they are going up too much all u have to do is to kill their units ;)

@hitch: u still get xp, tax AND 1 power from conquer which is already enough
