I don't know if this is what he's talking about but it does something similar like this to me. If i am already logged into the forums or something then I go to the homepage and Play Now. It puts me on the world select page but if I select a world it kicks me back out to the login page where I must sign in again.
The way I get around that is. Everytime before clicking on the login part I make sure i'm logged out.
(This is in the upper left hand corner of the screen)
If i'm logged in, I log out. If i'm not logged in I click on login and sign in. It takes me to the world select page and I select the world and it lets me on.

Don't know if this is what you mean but this is whats happened to me and how I got around it.

I'm going to be a copy cat and repeat what other said.

You really do need to clear cache cookies etc.

I know it can be annoying to do this.

I personally browse and just delete all of my BD cookies so I don't lose others. This happens to me a lot but c'mon get your nom nom on and munch those cookies. I also counteract this by using a separate computer just for BD or a separate browser for BD only, makes it more convenient.

Technically if your overly nerdy you could load a virtual machine and install an OS and use that for BD only then you could always blast everything without issue but y'know... that'd be sorta silly and I haven't actually tried it.

Sorry its kinda confusing. So say your logged on. (Shows if you are or aren't in the upper left hand part of the screen)
If you are sometimes it may not let you login to the worlds it kicks you back to where you have to type in your username and password.
When that happens I go back to the homepage and sign out. So it says You are not logged in or whatever.
Then I click the Blue login button and sign in. Once I do that it lets me get into the worlds.

Which version of firefox are you using? Please make sure firefox is up to date by going here, and that flash is up to date by going here. After this, clearing your cache and cookies again, please restart firefox and try again.

What you are doing is looping yourself back around to logging in. The main portal is a landing page, meant for the very first connection with BD in that session. By clicking the "Login" button, you are telling the client that a new player is logging in. This confuses the session and may actually log you out.

The best way to remedy this is to either use the 'back' button on your browser, or bookmark the server select screen so that you can quickly get back to the server list without having to loop back to the landing portal.
