what are the factor that effect upkeep?

upkeep is affected by

the amount of workers you have the higher the more upkeep meaning less worker growth

the amount of units you have the higher the more upkeep meaning less worker growth

the amount of outposts the more you have the higher the upkeep the lower the worker growth

the amount of nukes you have the more you have the higher the upkeep and the worker growth is lower

the amount of agents you have each agent will cost 1 upkeep so you gain 1 less worker per 24 ticks

things that increase growth and lower upkeep are conquers, resource outposts (metal mines and oil wells), crystals and relics.
