So he either saved the victim or saved the killer...
P.S. Kiddu is prolly a civilian if he mentioned lynching himself. No one with a role would

Right, nobody being killed could mean 2 things.
1. Murderer is inactive - we lynch all inactives.
2. Preacher used his powers to stop the murderer from using his - what I suggest is that the preacher come out and reveal his role, telling us who the murderer is. Then, we can simply lynch who he calls out, and if he'd been lying and was NOT the preacher (would have to be a bad guy), we simply lynch him the next day. Win win?

Well, The preacher could have targeted either the murderer OR the victim of the murderer. Any announcement of his stop the killing target would announce his role to the murderer, endangering himself. I'm sure he is being very quiet for that very reason.
Since the Night round ended early, I don't think the murderer is inactive... So my guess would be that the preacher either succeeded or protected the murderer.

Just wondering, but can the killer choose to not kill anybody? He might have been fearful that, the last time this game came to be, the killer killed almost half of his own faction. He could be carefully thinking this over, using arguments in order to get the discussion rolling and get the townies commited to the search, which gives him easy targets. Let's not get desperate here and jump to conclusions: all avenues must be studied. Indeed the preacher had a hit this night, so next time, if he's not caught, he will have a new clue on the killer. And, if we can discard one of the posibilities then better: lynch ads so as to discard the unlikely, but still possible option of the killer being inactive.

Pete seems rather suspicious to me accusing me when agon hasn't even showed up so therefore Pete seems like he's failed in lynching the inactives first making him rather suspicious.

Pete was quite sure that Rupert was not the murderer. So either he is the murderer or knows who it is from being the preacher. Lynch Pete works for me.
