as i understand from the posts above, GML locked themselves and then were spied before they had a chance to put spy protection?

excuse me my friends... but the main reason for your loss is locking yourself, not being spied. you have 99% probability to be spied either with or without having to refresh the client before activating a spy (activating a spy=short, putting SP=long, moving squads out = VERY long and in this case not even possible because of the lockdown)

it's a minor bug, there are far more important things to work on than this.

like i said in one of my previous posts, when attacking an op, you always have to assume that you will be spied, so locking yourself down is not a very good tactics and you should only blame yourself for doing it.

imo, no one should be banned, no one should be compensated. just be more careful next time.

This is after all the "FIRST EVER Championship" expect more of this "Bugs" to come... there is 1 thing that not all have known yet.. nor have tried doing it... unless your willing to spend 11K reds a day...minimum that is... let me know... :lol:

Finally got the time to read through all these posts

In general, this wasn't a bug. It was just how the game worked.
A tick passed whether you refreshed your client or not.
I don't think that it has had that huge effect as the clock at your top right side only shows the estimated time to the next tick and not the real time anyway.
I am sure all of you have had situations where the clock shows that there is still a minute left but you already had the alert that a tick has passed.

So when you rely to use this "trick" to do an action when the clock said 0:00 you could end up being way LATER than the ones who refreshed the client manually.

There is unfortunately no way to see, if a refresh has been done or not before someone used an agent on an OP. Therefore, no ban can be placed and no compensation can be given out.

But I do agree that this is irritating even when its only a visual problem.

We are constantly working on to remove all bugs and glitches from the game as soon as we spot them and also adding new stuff which benefits the players.

Agent actions at 0:00 won't be possible anymore without a refresh. Its already coded now and will be tested on RC during the next days.

I hope that this helps and you all still enjoy CE and the crazy battles there.
Please let me know when you spot more problems or bugs and glitches.

Unless someone is locked down (which means this entire argument becomes invalid anyway) there is no real advantage other than cosmetics. It will not provide a "round" win.
