Credit where due, it was the rank 30 alliance and the rank 34 alliance that wiped out the rank 2 alliance's entire army.

my bad, TLA (GIP) was a very big part of this. But the big blow came from CBop and I doubt HU expected this much of a fight from them at rank 40 something (now 30), let alone fully take them down.

Goes to show that at this point in the round, rank really does mean nothing. Maybe HU won't underestimate us in future.

Was a brilliant move but one that was broadcasted in time for an active alliance to turn back and avoid the trap. Unlucky for HU, they weren't that active alliance.

Also you guys seem to forget about the #1 ranked alliance who just made this all possible. No SAGE nukes, no trap, no HU death.

Those nukes had nothing to do with the trap. We got them locked down because they were sitting on the shield, then after we locked them we had enough put together to take them on with or without the nukes.

Therefore the nukes are negligible.

No squads escaped, this was 100% death. The nukes will only affect the third battle, and will only reduce our losses, they've not changed the fate of HU's units.
