I'm a complete newbie. I've read the thread about force relocating a captured colony. Am I to understand that if I relocate a settlement that i've conquered, I lose 200 pop? I dont like raze there resources or anything positive like that? What would be the advantage of force relocating. Thanks

It's to move the colony away from you, if he is causing you problems.

You keep the settlement, they just trade.

I relocated my colony because I saw someone was about to attack me, have I started a revelion?

What happen with the 5 squads that come to my colony? they still will atack me ?

No, you haven't started a rebellion I believe. And as for the squads that were attacking you, since you relocated, the place where your colony was, is now an outpost, so they're attacking your outpost.
