please don't jump me cause im just posting some results i get from sim for infantry :D

1 with only concusive weapons

pro army: 10 concusive armor,20 concusive range per squad
cheap army: 15 concusive armor,15 concusive dmg per squad

1.1 pro army outnumber cheap army

with 0% loses:pro 100%,cheap 100% (no one wins)
with 10% loses:pro 76%,cheap 100%
with 20% loses:pro 54%,cheap 100%
with 30% loses:pro 35%,cheap 100%
with 40% loses:pro 31%,cheap 100%
with 50% loses:pro 29%,cheap 100%
with 100% loses:pro 12%,cheap 100%

1.2 cheap army outnumber pro army

with 0% loses:pro 100%,cheap 100%
with 10% loses:pro 100%,cheap 87%
with 20% loses:pro 100%,cheap 73%
with 30% loses:pro 100%,cheap 61%
with 40% loses:pro 100%,cheap 52%
with 50% loses:pro 100%,cheap 45%
with 100% loses:pro 100%,cheap 33%

2 with mixed weapons

pro army: 10 concusive armor,7 concusive range,7 beam range,6 explosive range per squad
cheap army: 15 concusive armor,5 concusive dmg,5 beam dmg,5 explosive dmg per squad

2.1 pro army outnumber cheap army

with 0% loses:pro 100%,cheap 80% (cheap army wins)
with 10% loses:pro 100%,cheap 97%
with 20% loses:pro 78%,cheap 100%
with 30% loses:pro 57%,cheap 100%
with 40% loses:pro 36%,cheap 100%
with 50% loses:pro 30%,cheap 100%
with 100% loses:pro 18%,cheap 100%

2.2 cheap army outnumber pro army

with 0% loses:pro 100%,cheap 80%
with 10% loses:pro 100%,cheap 64%
with 20% loses:pro 100%,cheap 50%
with 30% loses:pro 100%,cheap 45%
with 40% loses;pro 100%,cheap 41%
with 50% loses:pro 100%,cheap 37%

If you want to use damage go ahead and use damage, we have explained countless times why range is always better than damage. Feel free to take your damage build into the champions era, let me know how you do there.

here are some little nice graph to show u how "useful" damage is

this is the losses in resources (metal + oil in total) when probuild vs cheap build, the percentage is how many units the enemy has compare to ur own.

You can see probuild lose less than cheap build UNLESS you have nearly as much as units as the enemy. However as Korupt said at least countless time already, if you attack ur enemy with nearly equal amount of troops, u're doing something wrong.

Unless it's the first 100 ticks, but not more.

Plus, probuild doesn't lose any units if you outnumbered the enemy with 3x the amount of units he has.

This really show how "useful" damage is

EDIT: the resources are based on [10 squads = 100%]
