No no no no damage does not work for anything but spam! For damage to actually do more damage than range it would require the battle to last at least 3 rounds. If you are fighting battles more than 2 rounds you are doing something wrong but 1 really should be what you aim for every battle.

correction, damage units deal the SAME amount of damage as range at round 3.... then at round 4 damage units started to deal more... so the battle must take more than 3 rounds in order for the damage units to be effective.

that's even more wrong...

Aister, hate to say it but..


Round 1: Range 4, damage 0
Round 2: Range 8, damage 7
Round 3: Range 12, damage 14.

So damage does do more damage starting round 3.

the damage units were so insignificant it didn't make me remember about it at all

in terms of cheap a 50% armor 50% dmg model is best as cost/effectiveness
in 1 to 1

a squad of 10 armor 20 ranged (infantry) costs 5000 gold 2000 wood
a squad of 15 armor 15 dmg costs 3750 gold and 750 wood
squads are equal in sim
and if put 3 pro squads (one for each weapon) against 3 cheap model squads the cheap model does even better

so at start u can upg gold mine first and go for 50/50 armor/dmg model,if u are active and get blues every chance u get u will be able to come up with an impressive army very quickly
