it's totally unrelated to this but i think seth answered me that yesterday... let me dig it up...

back to the topic, I tried 41 beam armor inf, which dealt 82 dmg, and they only killed 6 armor veh. While with 42 beam armor inf, which dealt 84 dmg, killed 7...

so in other words,
80 damages killed 7 vehs
82 damages killed 6 vehs
84 damages killed 7 vehs
