Dunno what is going on here

I was defending ops that were under attack, but my squads were arriving after the ops were already taken.

So my squads landed, won the battles, and re took the ops. Then I get the above event, and my squads turn away from the re taken ops and go back the ops I had originally launched them from. And I cant turn them back :P

Why is this? And how can I prevent it?

It was only me, I hit the one player that had just taken my op, there was no one else involved. I won the battle and re took the op. Then was forced to leave it.

What if my original OP was compromised? I would be forced into suicide.

I've seen that before but it happens very rarely and only with your own ops.
I tried to create the same szenario in RC but it never happens there. So unfortunately I can't say what caused this. As long as this has no negative effect for anyone, I'd say its okay for now. Whenever you can figure out under which circumstances it happens - please drop me a message.
Thanks!

oddly the same thing happened a tick or two later to one of my alliance mates. haven't seen it since then though.

It could also have a negative effect is the original OP you sent from is attacked and you are forced to go back there.
