try this.
30 armor and 10 range
vs
10 armor and 20 range

...

30 armor won with 5 range surviving
and there is no damage units, so don't bring me c*ap that it wont work in real life.

but you'll need 2 squads

(note that when i said C*ap it was a censored version of clap)

The first one has 40 units...

and its way more expensive

actually i found something.

see damage does less damage than range, but it doesn't mean it doesn't do damage and remember, damage is cheaper than range.

now try 11 armor and 19 damage
vs
10 armor and 20 range.

my results said the damage one, won.

i hope i didn't make a mistake like the first one XD
please reply saying what i did wrong so i can see how i got these bogus results.

edit: also remember that the battle did not last 4 rounds, but 3.

and again, u're stepping into the same mistake like the others.

there are no, and I mean no, battle that u send the same number of units.

u can't go out there and say "hey I'm sending 5 full 11-armor-19-dmg-each squads, u should send in 5 full probuild inf too so I can kill u"

no, u will try to send as much as u can and try to overwhelm the enemy. The enemy has 1 squads, u send 2; enemy has 5 squads, u send 10; enemy has 100 squads, u send 150. And with an overwhelming forces like that, ur win is 70% guaranteed, even with a probuild or not. The only thing that will make u lose is an all armor troops, split chassis also.

The only thing why probuild is called probuild, is it minimize the loss from ur side and maximize ur troops efficiency.

As I've stated before, unless damage units deals tons of damage, 10x more than range, I'll say the probuild is still better.

im just stating, this is the best build i found in terms of equal units.
not that i will ever use this build.

haha i just use 7 range 3 armour (thats for heavies, for inf it would be 20 range, 10 def, and for calv it would be 10 and 5) and that always works really well for me
