You can although it depends what you're gearing up for.

Typically you want to stick with the same chassis.

thanks.

I have another question. If one squad made up of vehicles and the other squad made up of tanks, both having the same ratio of weapons and upgrade, which squad, on average would win. The squad with vehicles or the squad with tanks.

I wouldn't. Having one chassis generally works best.

Well it depends on what the weapons are, but probably the vehicles since they get +25% damage against tanks.

Yes, you should mix them all up.

Why would you mix up chassis? That doesn't make any mathematical sense.

Think about it this way, if you only have vehics. And mixed weapons and upgrades, the person attacking you will only need Soldiers and beam weapons and he would crush you easily.

If they have beam soldiers, then you get someone else to fight him.

Fighting with mixed chassis is NEVER the best option, it is a lazy option for those who don't want to plan ahead. It does average against most armies, and it is NEVER the best option for reducing the most damage, or dealing the most damage.

Fighting with a single chassis reduces losses if you are smart about maneuvering your forces, and maximizes your damage if you pick your battles well.

This is a strategy game, if you want to do well you have to plan your actions, and fighting with mixed chassis is the lazy way for mediocre performance.

This is what happened when ExSo attacked DOOM for the first time :)

Anyway, like Kane said, mixing chassis is not a good move during war....
