yup they will not add up, but if u have enough agents, spy infil and energy, u can make sure that the lockdown will have at least 5 ticks.

But tbh it's a waste of energy, I would use lockdown only with an attack of 3 ticks (or at most 4) to make sure that the guy can't escape, then use the other agents for spy attack or in case the first spy failed.

no the spy cost is good enough. We shouldn't lower it.

U failed all the time becuz u don't know how to use it. And have a chance of failure means u will have a chance of successfully defend against a spy attack.

U don't want to have ur colony's workers dropped 10% every 6 ticks, do u?

and when I said u don't know how to use it, I mean how to use it effectively.

I've succeeded and failed in spy attacks tons of times, and I have to say we do spy attacks in at least 50 times in a serious era, and half of them works.

U just have to know where and when to put ur spy, putting a spy in a colony will not help, they have around 600 spy protection in average for every 1000 ticks on their colony.

by not attacking their colony, planting agents on a colony is a total waste of resource and energy.

And btw, I did state myself that I failed half of the spy attacks in a serious era, didn't I?

Spy attacks on colonies are generally useless unless you have a lot of agents on it willing to keep attacking when one dies. Colonies are usually very well spy protected, go for things that aren't colonies.

In order for a spy to be successful you MUST have more spy infiltration then spy protection. Then you will succeed every time. That is probably where you are going wrong.
