It seems everyone has these unwritten rules in mind. Use the pro build! Don't mix chassis! What's wrong with mixed chassis? Wouldn't a more diverse army give you nothing less than an advantage? I'm just wondering because it seems like a purposeless rule that everyone just blindly follows.

Mixed armor dies easier when apart. Also if most of your alliance uses inf even though they didnt plan too, in big battles cav and heavy would die.

mixed chasis is an easy 1 actually
the main problem with mix chasis is that simple armour vehicles wont protect range tanks or inf ect ect which pretty much can cause a great waste of resources when you have armour of 1 chasis still alive but all your range for another is dead which makes the build less efficiant

and plus with only one chassis you will die less, given that the enemy make all weapons like everyone else.

It's like this: enemy has 1 anti inf squad, 1 anti vehicle squad and 1 anti tank squad. If u have 3 inf squads u will take 330% damage of 1 squad (100% of anti vehicle, 100% of anti tank and 130% of anti inf).

However, if u have 1 inf squad, 1 vehicles squad and 1 tank squad, u will take 390% damage of 1 squad (130% of each enemy's squad).

Alright valid points. But what's the problem with using mixed chassis if their all organized into an army? Say, 20 of every unit? How could there be a problem there?

Just think about it. You have two armies: one has 60 inf, the other has 20 inf 20 veh 20 mechs

If you're up against a standard whatever chassis it'd most likely have 33% concussive 33% beam 33% explosive

Army 1: 60 inf will only be damaged the most by 33% of the enemy.

Army 2: 20 inf 20 veh 20 mechs will be damaged by 100% of the enemy

Did that make any sense or am I bad at explaining?
