my question is, is there a correlation to the number of workers you have versus the amount of resources you get per tick?
for example, will i get more metal with 10,000 workers than 100 if i have the same level mine?

i can't get on bd atm so not 100% sure, but based on what i remember and the old client then yes, you get more (and btw. max is 1000 not 10 000 )

Yes that is correct as they make metal according to percentage.
