Random question. A nuke kills ten percent of the troops and damages the rest.

If 2 nukes hit at once will it kill 10% then another 10 % of the 90% left so basicly 19 % or does it kill 20 %? And the damage it does to all troops is it possible to kill all the troops in a colony with only nukes?

I don't think nukes kill units parked on a colony, at least on the old client it didn't. It only killed units parked on Outposts.

But to answer your question... Nukes kills 10% each hit. It does not combine, or accumulate.

Killing all units with just nukes? I don't think so, not only would it take a lot of nukes but the death toll with each nuke is just going to be smaller and smaller, never really getting to 0 (zero).

Nukes damage units the same regardless if they are on outposts or colonies, all units hurt to 1hp and 10% are killed off. The only difference between that and the old client was that in the old client nukes dropped defending forces on a colony to 50% hp but it still killed 10% as well.

In answer to your question morbid yes, if 2 nukes strike it will calculate each nuke seperately so the first kills 10% of 100% and the second 10% of 90%, the remaining units.

Hope that helps!

Oh ok. So a nuke cannot kill units by the random damage it does only the 10% die.

Lets say a colony has 45 tanks and i use a spy getting them down to 1 hp then have a nuke hit. It wouldn't kill all the tanks just 5 of them in rounded up. or 4 if rounded down?

It would be rounded up to 5 and yes that is correct, the 10% is killed not based on a certain damage it is just a static 10% of the total amount of units there.
