lol damage is use ful only when u hav enuf armor to protect it for atleast 2 rounds............ coz if the range units get past ur armor quickly then damage units willl be cut like cheese........................ if u hav all damage ones intact for 3 rounds then the battle is yours

but if u ask me DAMAGE =LOSING
BETTER STICK TO THE RANGE N ARMOR COMBO
IF U HAV ALOT OF ARMOR WITH RANGE ITS GREAT!!!

The reason to use damage for spam is it will beat the units they send (armor) therefore you are not suiciding the units and obviously you don't use them for battle reports.

And damage is also good for the early ticks. One damage concussive mech can kill 14 armor inf before dying itself. So very, very easy XP for them. And aye, damage spams are the way to go.

Correction - damage spams are the way to go when your enemy only sends armor spams. :D

I like to make 2 types of spams. the normal spam - 1 armor inf; and my anti spam; 1 armor inf and 1 ranged inf

i usually just call my spam suicide lol. it's really only meant to gain quick territory before my enemy can react and to get intel on enemy units. my anti spam is what keeps my OPs from getting taken by spam and to cut off spam. I usually have about 10 anti spam made and on multiple different gates at all times.

I personally would not use range inf in spams. They are only effective versus inf and are more costly than other methods of spamming.

I'd use a range tank tbh

and wat konvict want to say is anti-spam, a combo of armor and range inf will kill any single inf on the OP.

though an armor tank can kill them...

It doesn't matter if you use the pro build or something else as long as you're using something that fit's your style and have lots of xp it works.
