Lots of good players in Brazil couldn't participate in the match. Plus Brazil has always been a team with weak defense, and the offense only had Neymar, who was injured. Not to mention it's a direct-elimination match, and they are the host themselves, so the frustration and stress after the 2nd goal two-folded.

Germany on the other hand, are strong and have good offense and defense. I wasn't even surprised by the fact that Brazil lost that badly. It was a little bit more than I expected, but not to the point of surprising.

well before Argentina vs Netherland start i would say i will really like to see argentina in Final cause i feel they only have a capable defense to hold counter attacks of Germany and put up a good Game, netherlands defense was very vulnerable Australia proved that, so fingers crosses.

Whoever deserved to be in Final is in final , didnt Krul did the same thing for netherland in quarterfinal what romeiro did for Argentina in semifinal ,it was just 2 lucky dives which made the diffrence, and for chances argentina made a few good chances too but to be honest argentina's attack wasnt as good as netherlands so they tried to play more in midfield , the final should be intersting, "The best team of the world (Germany) vs The best player of the world (Messi)"

I think Robben forgot that a team is not just about the offense. Sure they attacked more and had more chance, but they couldn't score a goal, either cuz of luck, their skills, or the defense. Watever it is, the fact that they couldn't score a goal. It doesn't matter that Netherlands held the ball 90% or even 100% and shoot 100 times on target, if they couldn't score, then they don't deserve the win more than the other team.

Argentina did great holding off Netherlands (well not quite, but meh), and won against them in the penalty shoot-out. I think they pretty much deserve the final match.

Argentina have only really been winning by one goal margins and penalties. From a more say, attacking team its not what was expected. Still they're in the finals, but I think Germany will win.
