I'm pretty sure this has been suggested a few times before, so I'm not going to claim credit for it. This will just be a revised version.

Sandbox Mode
"The easiest way to test new items!"

Wouldn't it be nice to try out that new mythical to see whether or not would be of any use to you? Of course!

This would be a simple way for spenders (preferably moderate to extreme) to find out whether or not they should spend money for a chance to get the new item(s) that were just released.

Obviously this system would need to be at some costs, to prevent people from just going in Sandbox mode all day long. Here are some rules Sandbox Mode would need to governed by. Keep in mind these were all hypothesized on the fly.

Rules and Restrictions
1. Only computers can be fought in Sandbox Mode (duh).
Preventing OP mechs from finding their way into multiplayer matches.

2. Sandbox wins and losses give no benefit in rankings.
Again, preventing OP mechs that weren't "earned" from smashing people and getting rewards for it.

3. Battle Credits must be used every Sandbox match.
This one is a little more complex. This is to prevent the average player from finding Sandbox Mode more fun than normal play. I was thinking of a harsh battle credit cost to enter a mission with a Sandbox mech. For example it would take 2 BC's to enter a random easy mission with a Sandbox mech, 4 BC's to enter a random hard mission, and 6 BC's to enter a random insane mission. This makes it worth while to test a new mech idea, yet not so fun to just "play" in the Sandbox.

Freedoms and Benefits
1. Any item can be put on your mech in Sandbox mode.
The intent of this mode is to help people test new mech ideas without harsh consequences.

2. The option to pick mission difficulty.
Kind of explained this above, and this is also essential. If you think you're mech will be really good, then it might be better use those BC's on a hard or insane mission. First time in Sandbox or looking for some casual testing? Might want to go into an easy mission.

3. Fusion levels can be selected on each item.
A nice added bonus feature to the Sandbox. If you know how much fusion you normally put on items, this will be helpful to find it's benefit to you.

Again, the intent of this mode is to help people make an informed decision about spending money to buy tokens for boxes.

What do you think? Would you make an tweaks or changes? Reply and Vote!

Totally i've been wanting this for a long time now.

When the new ones come out, i have no idea what they do or how to use them correctly, so a big yes.

I like the idea of using battle credits too, that way you cant play all the time and if you really want to you have to spend quite a bit of sm. i was thinking more like 10 bc per battle though.
