Maybe a bit of a twist though - what if once a clans' member has been defeated (maybe 3 times in a row?) they are out of the battle - a bit more direct competition?
Curious what you think of that. Good idea. Limiting the number of fights per member would make - as you said - more direct competition. This rule would require members to inspect enemy members around their rank, and also would make starting a clan battle riskier, especially if there was some sort of extra consequence for losing. I like it.  All suggestions are welcome here! Post them!

It would be interesting if some of the ideas from the new mortal kombat game could be implemented into the idea of clan battles. Seems like a good idea, gives motivation to be in a clan.
