I think it'd be cool to add a unit, up with the charge and teleport etc., that would overheat, drain electricity, or something of that nature to cause the the opponent to miss half a turn...

i think it would be to much over powered, and they are already weapons of that nature like the Blazer, flaming snake,Hauteclere,Fiery bites and the heat overflow. tho they do not do alot of damage they are still effective against players with heat shields and low heat capacity.
