It does not need anything added to it to make it out of beta it simply needs to polish what it has. Other stuff is just extra. :lol:

I think this is the admins' decision (or whomever owns equity). Adding stuff will make the game more robust, but would also require more maintenance. If the admins want a more official game, then they can add more. If they want to have a simple game and be more conservative, then less is more. This is not a gaming decision, this is a business decision. :P

there's no motivation or huge competition atm... why should I log in every day etc... battle dawn has it.. super mechs needs it imo...

Well that is what the tournaments are for. I think this game needs more gaming options altogether if it wants to be successful, but if it wants to appeal to just a niche market, I think it has already done that (if only minimally).

agreed but atm we don't have tournaments and I heavily feel it isn't completed yet even if we are keeping it crazy simple...

True, right now it's just a flash game with some bling. But that's all that is needed for a completely simple game (I never play more than flash games). But if this game wants to be more than just a flash game, their needs more competition. The ranking system really only measures win/loss records and there is little attention to other forms of competition (like tournaments). I think there really should e some sort of story/career mode that is separate from the 1 player mode. I look at the 1 player mode as an arcade, but having a story will add an action game appeal to the game, and give players a sense of direction. Rather than just a quick 10 minute tutorial, players can be immersed into a realm of tactics and strategies when leveling up in the career mode, causing players to critically think more in order to beat the story/career mode.

In my opinion, a trading area would definitely bring the game out of the beta phase. Anything else could just be updates.
BTW, will supermechs ever be a fullscreen program? (an EXE for Windows, for example)
