so this is slightly different..
it's a new game mode
which meanswith you have a different objective
Synopsis: your planet is being threatened destruction, by an enemy mech.. Only you can save you planet.. You must capture his module at his comand center or destroy the enemy mech (if you can take his module to your comand base you can destroy him etc)you are our only hope.. Good luck
So you start at your command base at your regular spot and your enemy starts at .. you wouldn't be able to use the special items like teleport, charge, hook.. And that's the very basics...
Why this should be made is because as a supporter we get 0 perks this could be available to just supporters or it could be just a crazy cool adition to the game..

Maybe instead of disabling special moves, each player has to start out on top of their flag-module thing, and special moves are only disabled if you have the other person's flag-module thing.

Idk, one issue I already see with this is this game takes place on a 2d area. The thing that makes capture the flag fun is different avenues to attack/return and outsmarting your opponent while using the most efficient route. Not really possible in sm.

True, capture the flag will have to become more big picture. Within the first few turns, it probably be obvious (without any unusual inconsistencies) who will have won the game, making it more about overall tactics, rather than ingame strategies. But what it loses out in sly strategic ploys, it gains in tactical thinking. I think there is a gem of a concept in the Capture the Flag idea, just not without a lot of possible issues that could eventuate.
