So I noticed the lag isn't gone.. (it's better a lot better) but long story short.. I'm going to start playing on my old account.. and it was 10 times more laggy.. my turn got skipped a lot.. I was wondering why.. then I noticed the quality etc. was on high... now most people who try the game won't know that etc.. and they might quit because of lag etc... I know that it's good to see the quality of the artwork or whatever.. personally I can't tell a difference.. but I think making the game playable making people stay in the game etc.. is more important than the small art change...

Maybe whats needed is a warning saying "if you are experiencing lag problems then we recommend changing your settings to fix it" because some don't have lag problems.

thanks:)
I think this is part of the reason why I quit when super mechs first came out... I had no idea that this was why I was having lag... sure people now a days can check the forums for help etc.. but probably 1/30th of the players check the forums... (if we're lucky (I don't know for sure so don't judge lol)) and why should they when 1/3 of their turns are getting skipped... it's no fun.. they can't get help cause the game isn't fun and the game can't get fun cause it isn't fun.. etc.. so lets cut out this whole scenario etc.. and honestly I'd rather a message say (your artwork could be better but be careful of lag) letting people get hooked on the game and learn to love it like a lot of us have.. and get our player base better...

I think this could be a part of the compulsory tutorial, swapping settings from high graphics & poor performance to low graphics and better performance. This part of the tutorial would allow the player to set it as s/he likes afterwards, but would raise awareness of the option and its connection to lag.
Coupled with a warning popping up now and again, it could really help those who get lag issues.

(I voted 'tweak' but can change to yes if it looks like gettin close to the mythical 30 votes)

This sounds great and a good add on of what I thought of and am trying to do.. with your add on though.. I'd still think it would be best if it was default on low... just in case.. but great points..

I personally cannot see the settings of this game affecting lag, the graphics are so minimal any machine put out in the last 10 years should be fine with it. Hell my computer is a few years old with drivers that haven't been updated in 2 years. In short I think you have a net issue not an issue rendering the graphics of the game.
