I was thinking of legs that can lessen the effects of knock back in some way.

Not sure how good of an idea that is though, so I would like to hear what other people think of it. :)

if a leg has knock back resistance, it should be heavy or have a good "traction" against the ground, which in turn decrease the movement.

So, a player has less of an ability to move around more freely, but gains the ability not to receive as much knock back.

I kind of like that trade off.

That ... is a good question, I guess it would stop the knock back completely or the player will still receive knock back of just 1 space. Guess it depends on what the developers think is the better option, if they do add it to the game that is. ;)

I vote yes it would add more variety to the legs making more strategies available but obviously this can't be added on to any legs without lowering the other stats or increasing price.

a tag-on idea for this.
If you use the grappling hook/harpoon on an opponent with better traction, instead of them being dragged to you, you get dragged to them.

Or maybe if both mechs have high traction legs, they don't get dragged all the way.
