Hiya! I want to give my opinions on a new arm slot type quipment. Really I want a "Shield" attached to my arm slot. Maybe it can give resistance or maybe % or flat HP.

As second, I want you to think about "Damage over Time" type of weapons. Aren't they funny? Why not adding 2-3 of them to see community approval? Hmm, furthermore, why only DoT? Lets add "Heat over Time" and "Energy loss over Time"?

DoT-> An attack that makes continious explosions for 2 turns
HoT-> An attack that burns target and it heats it up over 2-3 turns. Maybe minor damage too.
EloT-> An attack that disturbs mech's energy system and makes it lose some energy regen for 2-3 turns.

(I would recommend them to be un-stackable and short duration or people will abuse it ^^ )

The drones are already a sort of damage over time attack (you use them once, and each round more damage is done).

What advantage would DoT weapons have over normal weapons?
If I had a weapon that does x damage over one turn, why would I choose a weapon that does damage over 2 turns?

And as matches are usually short (only several turns), long duration weapons loose their efficiency.

I don't like the idea, but it has potential, so I vote tweak

I'm lv 25 now, my battles are lasting 7-12 turns according to my experience. Meaning it is enemy's turn 3-6 times so an effect that lasts 2-3 can inflict its max. At least, even if you won't use a DoT weapon, I want to...
