i personally dont like very much the new changes....for example the modifications on the last torsos....or others....i liked the HAL, with 4 top weapons and 3 sides, gladiator, with 3 tops and 4 sides, spider, with 4 tops and 4 sides...there was versatility, also the new matchmaking system is not so cool....i have a lvl 59 spider chassis with high end weapons and the game find lvl 51 players !!! my opinion is that the matchmaking is wrong.....but this is just my opionion....

That may be because 51 is the closest level mech that can be found to you. As for the other changes, thanks for your input. (:

Hello everyone.

I support Filipas opinion about the torso changes. In my opinion changing (almost) every torso past lvl 43 to 4 side and 2 top weapons makes the game lose much of its versatility.
The mechs now only differ in weapon configuration and stats, no torso specifically supports a playtype any more. And where is my treat for getting past all the way to Spider, Gladiator and Hal, which carry more than only six weapons.

I would suggest to concentrate more on the specific playstyles of a torso instead of adding more and more torsos to the game, as great as they may look. Each torso benefits a playstyle (Heat generator, Energy and Shield Mech, Short range physical Mech, Long range rocket mech, HP Hulk etc.) and is countered by other torsos with another speciallity.

This makes the game also more structured and prevents balance irregularities, which I noticed appearing more often, when more stuff was added (for example see my post on the artillery 4 or compare the stats of the new lvl 51 dragon with the lvl 57 volcano).

Sometimes less is more! This holds especially for strategy games like Starcraft and SuperMechs :)

totally agree....but in the end, all same level torsos must be equivallent, with their specific strenghts and weaknesses
