isn't it nice of Tacticsoft to give us 4 gold boxes? really sweet. I mean that honestly.

that bias they put into the gold boxes so people with an okay sized inventory of mythicals already to get useless crap gold box after gold box.. yeah that wasn't so sweet.

when I logged in and saw the notice I though "wow this is very generous now I'll get a few myths not just one and a couple may even be useful"

well. take a look:
BOX 1

so after box 1 I'm thinking "okay. bad luck but the next one has got to be a goodun right?" wrong. how could you be so naive past self.

BOX2

now. the saavy amoungst you will at this point observe there is a mythical amoungst the pile of crap in this box.

and yeah, it's a mythical. but this particaular mythical loses its magic after you've been opening boxes for a while and this happens:

I have added a little yellow box to make spotting it easier, I appologise to anyone who was planning on a game of spot the orb cannon.

so at this point I'm thinking "don't push it now, game."

the aforementioned saavy readers of this thread will be begining to puzzle together a bit of a pattern at this point.

these gold boxes, are not giving me mythicals.

don't insult our intelegence Tacticsoft. there is a bias programmed into these gold boxes. I used to open up 3 myths a box in my initial purchases. now this is the quality of boxes I can expect?

I got 4 mythical items:
Needle Blaster II
Wipeout I
Mayhem Battery I (I also have Mayhem Battery II)
Shock Biter (I have 2 now)
Anyways I am happy because I couldn't afford tokens so they gave me free boxes for christmas thank you Tactisoft

Box 1,2,3, I got some Mythical items. Most I have already. I got Energy Gen 3. =) Pretty nice of Tactisoft.

this still doesnt explain how I have about 20 orbs but not a single red rain for example or 8 myth shotguns: 4 flame, 3 phys and only 1 energy as another.

if the gold boxes were truly random you would be unlikely to see that. and dont try to tell me its a flook because I've spoken to other people with the same thing: always the orb cannons and then to a lesser extent with the swords

am I to be convinced that some witchcraft is at play here or will tacticsoft finaly admit they have a bias programmed into the boxes?

Actually, through my eyes you were lucky. 1 Mythical in 4 goldies is a little over average for me.

This is kind of luck you get used to after awhile. But I doubt the boxes were rigged.

Its luck - sometimes its on your side sometimes it isn't.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed, but I assure you there is no bias in boxes.

In fact to tell a little story, I once argued for a slight bias in boxes to make it less likely a box has 0 or 5 mythicals, but it was shot down and we increased the mythical rate instead (from 7% to 16% or so, my memory is awful).


We absolutely don't have any bias.
