Why don't you ask your clan members, since they're the ones doing it?

This is a good question... as far as the games design itself goes, there isn't (suppose to be) a possible way to change your name.

Nicknames in supermechs are separate to your username. When you join it asks you what you wish your name to be, so chances are it won't effect your log in username.

If however it does, that would be very interesting

I don't think I ever got this option, but I was one of the original testers so perhaps that has something to do with it?

I would love a new log in username, really. I chose kitty because I quickly had to choose a new one (they suddenly disallowed spaces...) and I sort of regret it now. Shame to hear that this is only supermechs!

In this case though, it's most likely guys with a second account joining the clan rather than changing their names. Will still look in to it though, as there are security reasons a username can't be changed.
