Why not? A heat shield counters Energy builds easily and you don't have to deploy it during battle

Even a energy shield against an Inferno wont work because its not the damage it does that hurts because it is weak weapon in those terms... its the +65 heat that hurts and shields, both heat & energy wont stop energy draining or over heating. they are made for reducing damage only.

I think poping up an energy shield against a heat build is not good stratagy because they dont do heavy damage and the shield does nothing to stop the over heating.

NOW HERES AN IDEA FOR THE DEVS... ARE YOU GUYS LISTENING???
...one thing that can be done to help in the balance of the game is to allow the shields to also protect against energy draining[heat shield] and over heating[energy shield] as weLl.

...or...

come out with physical shields that reduce energy drain and over heating in place of extra damage... basically the reverse effect of the other two shields.
