The recent update which puts players at random yet equal distance from the center IS BS.

I lost over 1K points due to this stupid update. Right now, there is no "skill" in playing, because if you land on the wrong spot, you get killed. Seriously, what the hell was the point of this stupid update? I'm tired of losing 100s-200s of points, because of the new balance update. I had a CHANCE at that weekly tournament. Now it is all blown away, because of this update.

If you agree that this is a useless update, vote yes, because I can't stand this BS.

Agree, but also balances the fact that I might land an RPG on the top of the mech at the first turn

I think this is a great update, becouse at this way there is more varity in the game. You need to be prepared on more stuff. First, i could just do the same trick/ use same weapons over and over, now I had to change this becouse of the update so I have to balance my mech.

Actually, wrong, spawn is almost all time each Mech close to each other, make it REAL random, not just 75% close to each other, 24% at medium range and the last 1% at long range, even then, the system needs some tweaks, mabye making it like Worms?

Also, balance the Blazer Melee, it is OP, it overheats me in ten seconds without nothing for me to do, make it like, 5-10 heat.

When the last system always used starting position 5, then new system also uses starting positions 1 and 3 (numbers show the range).

Even though starting from range 3 is nice, i personally think that starting from range 1 is bad.
Why?
Because in lvl30 range, players have access to Shotgun X, and that may deal 20-150 (if physical then up to 170) damage per shot. So, in very first turn, i could loose easely 140+ HP and that basically decides the outcome of a match.
