What's the deal with first turns? As far as i have understood it so far, the first turn goes to the one who is of lower level, and, in case of equal level, to the one with the lesser score. Or at least that is what i have observed for 26 levels.
Now however i hit level 27 and get to fight against level 30 Mechs more often. This in itself is already difficult enough with the power gap from 29 to 30 being large as it is, but now it seems that only the ranking score determines the first move.
Getting hit first by a lvl 30 mech does not make for an entertaining match. I managed to deal with some, few encounters where i was allowed the first hit due to lesser ranking. In all other scenarios it is usually a onesided slaughter unless the opponent really screws up.
So, why is the 'lower level first' rule turned off in a match of levels 27 vs 30?
