Well guys we have added more knockback as an experiment, just as Liran said.
If it doesnt work out we will revoke it.

Just give more good arguments for or against knockback as you already did.
That's how it works.

More movement was one intention and that movement does not necessarily mean your mech walking or jumping but also more use of hook/charge/teleport.
More knockback now also favours mechs with missile weapons which were not really used in the past.

it was better before the patch....except the rare items idea, i found it to be useful, i m not a rich player , but i like to experiment much :P , and i keep playing until i have money....but, speaking about knockbacks, you can equip your mech with knockbacks weap then with long range weaps, and it s stationary....just keep firing....not so cool

I am noob so if I am wrong dont rant but explain :)

I agree that the huge change after last update/patch unbalanced and rendered my battlebot useless. I get overheated even without shooting any shot ^^
I am lvl 15 now. I get pitched against lower then me in battle (11/14) whos mechs should be lower then mine so i never start battle no more or am pitched against lvl 50 or even higher ^^ The balancing system from a lvl 15 against lvl 50 is not balanced at all, you are chanceless as lvl 15...
When overheated I shoot once some rockets and next round I am cooling down my two rounds ^^

The new idea is great btw, maybe you should restart all user accounts after such an impact in the game (read somewhere you are still beta ?). If you dont like a restart it can also mean you unbalanced the game to much and maybe not impliment it then this radical way ?

This was my escape from the big world game for a view days and had great fun ! Now I lose all matches and somehow then the fund is gone lol :D
I wil probably not return. Sorry, dont want to rebuild my mech on every patch/update as said above is my escape gme not primary game :)
I also dont understand how to add friends and miss some chat system (not complaining but a noob as me dont see how you can use it) so you can ask about tricks / tactics or give and receive compliments after battle...

I wish you good luck on the game as it is a great simple fun idea and i wish all good fun :)

The "big dog" railgun does not even fit in with top tier weapons anymore. the update that added knockback to most guns is pretty lame. Changes strategy on all the guns. But when will there be more selection like a high-level black hole gun?
MY next post will have some ideas for more guns. Leave them the old way and make new guns the new way

I think the best way to make players be less stationary is to make one moving per turn for free, so the players could move every turn without losing on action point (maybe with a bigger arena).

move forward is free you have 2 action points left 1.use sword 2.stomp and repeat that all game

And it has nothing to do with us wanting players to spend money. On the other hand, this update was made to help a lot of players who claimed that the fact that they didn't pay money made them significantly weak.


i didn't pay anything and i'm not weak :lol:
