I'll start

(1) Your Electro Drone finishes off you're energy and making you drop your shields? Best way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

Totally...heat-locking is such a rough situation to get into.

Still, it's pretty clear that they're being careful not to make it *too* easy to heat-lock. Flamethrowers have limited ammo, for example.

Here's another:

You have a long-range build, based on pushing the other guy away with your Big Blue Blast (level ~35, 2 knockback, 15 energy per use) - but your energy gets drained and your opponent puts you against the wall with double Blue Rein (level ~31).

Energy regen and cooldown buffs are so important! X_x

Totally. I've had Yelloworm in 90% of my builds since it opened up in Level 23. I'm now Level 40 and it's *still* a decent choice.

Totally overpowered. But much easier to deal with now that the knockback is only one.

Horror stories? Avoid players who use 4 repair kits a battle, they never come un-stocked ):<

Perhaps the worst thing is when you are energy drained first round and are pretty much stuck on the battlefield from then on...worst thing? best thing? getting to the threshold of overheating but staying on the bare line (eg, 90/90) and then you blow your opponent to smoke : D

Turn off your sound go into another tab to write something in the forum (so you don't hear that that the battle started) and than you come back and see that your opponent already played 2 rounds without you.

And then you loose against your opponent while he has 3HP and FullHeat :D
