there is no perfect build tbh, if one is too focused on heat they will leave energy and concussive resistance... which means they will be a fodder to energy-focused mechs.

Exactly. In this game I have come across people with $$$ weapons and still beat them due to counter build or just plain outplayed them, employing better strategy and sometimes getting lucky with starting positions and first turn advantage. I think this game does an excellent job of balancing paid bonuses like premium membership and weapons.

When I started there were no token weapons and I really liked the weapons which are now for tokens pretty much but as you said there are ways to overcome them. (if you are not so unlucky an have a build which can't do that)

Another thing I want to mention:
I think the token prices for credits are much to high. I don't know what other players think about them but I had never problems with money. I was always relatively rich. So why buy credits?

I think you admins can see how many people bought these products maybe their numbers tell something different than my opinion.

Yah I think in a Beta build like this they are workshopping / testing out lots of new ideas and models to find out what works.

I do think that giving more loot for a premium account sucks way more than this whole 1 or 2 weapons for real money thing. IMO

up to this point (level 35) I didn't see many items for tokens, that I really wanted to buy and I didn't encounter many players, who had token-weapons equipped. Don't know, if this will change at higher levels or when beta ends, but as for now, I don't feel like I have to face any disadvantage if I don't spend real money.

seriously. payed weapons are just to increase weapon variety. they do not (lets say most of the time) overpowering normal ones. You must outplay or counter your opponent.

thou i never bought them since it is beta right now, I am thinking to get some low level ones if they be "eye-candy". For supporting the game of course.

While we are talking about payed weapons, erm, weapons bought with tokens will last while "changing" the game to "not beta" client? Just asking...

You do not really need the bonus tokens to make it in the game, I am level 58, never used supporter tokens on Super Mechs. Though getting a premium account gets twice as much Experience and SM Coins, the reason the Supporter Token weapons exist is to make the supporters purchase worth it.

Without the supporters Battledawn, BattleGalaxy, and SuperMechs could not exist. :P

I always ballance my mech so the my ammo doesn't ran out very quick, overheating and stuff. I currently don't use energy weapons, so energy isn't much of a problem
