I have no idea how gift codes work or were to redeem them can you tell me please?

You give the code (from the gift tab) to a friend, they register and after that in their gift tab they can fill it in. You get rewards when they grow so be sure to teach them. :)

After a while the gift tab changes from being filled into, to giving codes itself.
