I seem to have a problem that if I have SM open at the same time as BD it crashes during the victory dance (single player). I still win and get the rewards but it is annoying.

Sounds more like an issue with your PC not being able to handle both games at once, rather than an issue with coding. Try it on a better computer and post back with results.
