Sorry I have to go in the other direction.

Live the current one much more. More colors & big buttons ;)

(maybe you can implement a choose interface function for me^^)

Looks really nice! Though, imo there MUST be dialog that pops up when you hover over an icon, as some of them aren't very descriptive.
