ROUND 4

"The sniper has returned to his post, rapid, and risky movement is not recommended. Enemy soldiers have stopped searching through houses, and have formed a defensive position near the intersection half way the bell tower.

3 blocks have been passed so far, 7 remain in this hellish nightmare. The sunlight is nearly gone now...soon it will be dark, but not quite yet. The enemy soldiers vision has become slightly limited, as well as yours. Perhaps the sniper may not be able to spot you as well as before...but are you willing to take that risk? As night approaches its clear that sniping will not be a factor in the next round, but for now the sniper remains overlooking the town.


Please remember to READ ROUNDs 1-3 before playing round 4, if you havent posted yet. Also read the rules!

I arrive at the room: I curse at my luck, as only one fell at my trick. However, it worked, so I dont do so out loud. I lock down the only door to the bedroom I have before me: I'm definitely not going back there, so I go to move the bed to further press against the door, when I have a better idea: I carefully prepare one of my grenades, in such a way that, once the door opened, it would blast whatever fool that dared do so. Being a bedroom, I turn on a candle and a radio, that tunes into news about the war. That way, whoever was trying to listen to my actions could not tell a thing of what was going on by sound. I chuckle lightly, as I prepare to go out the window into the next building. Of course, I first look outside, and see the soldiers retreating to the Bell. My guess was that they were retreating. Since I never truly believed the sniper's absence, I first look at the sides of the window: the Bell was directly at front of me, blocked by the next building, to where I promptly dash to off of my window: hopefully my trap does not only delay the enemy this time, but give a surprise to die for.


Spoiler:
Just as you push off the windowsill, you're slammed into the side of the next building from the force of an explosion behind you. Your ears are ringing and you have become extremely disoriented. Apparently in a moment of haste, the enemy soldier took the bait, and indeed it was to die for. Its a shame nothing always goes exactly as planned but for now, you have survived. (+25 SXP)

my team advanced a bit but i was able to track them as i was keeping a close watch in them back
ended up in a building with them and i see one of my ally setting a trap and i carefully observe him and understands that he is going to buy us some time ..
i crouch near a window which is half broken to see outside.. to my relief the men are retreating for now and i think the snipers would be back on duty as there's no military force to check around. so we had to maintain our cover in the shadows

i told the guys there was another small cracked wall behind a building that almost blocked the view from bell tower where the sniper could have been.. i set up few traps of my self in the buildings myself and then move slowly down to get cover behind that building that blocks the view and hope to get the enemy on surprise soon probably
but we dont know whats going to happen
we hope for the best

As you press your back up against the wall of the building, you notice "thechessshark13" opening a windowsill, he jumps out just as an explosion slams him into the wall. Small pieces of glass cut your face but other than being completely unaware of yourself for a minute or two, you seem relatively fine. You have regrouped with your team member "thechessshark13". For now you have survived. (+15 SXP)

Blood covers every ounce of my body. "CENSORED!" I think, and remove my clothes. I look around and see the dead solders lying on the ground. I remove their clothes and put them on. The soldier whose clothes I took looks remarkably like me - handsome, tanned skin and with the most beautiful eyes you ever saw. The final touch is putting blood on my face, and the black hat on my head, so that I am unrecognisable - so that the enemy think im one of them.

I break down a few doors in the house and make a barricade in the kitchen. For now I am safe in this small shelter I have made. I heat up some oil I find in the kitchen, to be used in case anyone attacks. I line up frying pans and the bayonet of my gun from the celing, and use my old clothes to make a pulley system. When I cut my clothes with my bayonet the 10 pans I have attached to the roof will fall, stunning any intruders.

I pour myself some water and pray. I think back to Elrica, and her beautiful curves. Elrica, if you can read this...I need you here

I find another hobnob. Nomnomnom :P

After finishing rigging up your traps, and taking a nice relaxing break while your comrades are dying in the battlefield advancing toward their objectives you hear that all too familiar whistling sound again. You jump up quickly, and make your way to the rear door. However in your panic you catch your bayonet on your clothes-trap, triggering it, causing the pans to swing at you, several miss but one....just one...knocks you straight in the back of the head. You are out cold...but very much alive....until the artillery shell slams into the roof tearing the place and you apart. You have died.

Thinking..... thinking about I'm going to get out of this situation. Thinking about what I'm going to do if I get out of this situation. Thinking about what I'm going to do right now. That's what needs to be on my mind right now. What am I going to do now? Should I attack the enemies ahead of me? Or should I try to run away. Running away would be useless as they will just come looking for me. I need to somehow weaken the enemy. But how?

I looked in the room and I see a couple people guarding the entrance to the door I'm looking through. I think this is a shortcut to the fields. I've discovered one of their tunnel networks. I think to myself "this could be useful in the future." I get my gun out and open the door just barely and reach for my gun behind my back. Before I grab the handle, I look behind my back to be sure no one has followed me through the tunnel, and I turn my focus back on the guards. With my gun in my hand I stand up and aim for the head of the first guard, careful not to get close enough for the other guard to see my hand.

As quick as a squirrel snatching an acorn, I fling the door, shoot the first guard and quickly hit the second guard with the back of my gun. They both fall to the ground. One is dead and one knocked out. I immediately duck back behind the door taking the sniper to mind. I crack the door open again. I just barely see the sniper in the distance. It doesn't seem like he's paying any attention to me. It seems like his sights are aimed down in ghosses area. I'm not taking any chances though.

I crack the door open just enough for me to fit my arm through. I grab the leg of the first guard and move my head out of the way of the entrance in the door to avoid being sniped in the head. If anything, they'll only be able to shoot my arm. As I slide the guard into the tunnel, I open the door just a bit more each time I hear his helmet scrapping across the floor, making sure I stay behind the door, all vital organs out of the sight of the sniper. Finally I got the guard in the tunnel. I set him behind me to try and temporarily block the entrance way of the tunnel. It looked blocked, but I need one more person to make sure. That's where the second guard comes in.

I carefully and slowly reach for the second guard as well. I slowly and as quietly as possible drag the second guard into the tunnel room, still making sure all vital organs were not visible by the sniper and not taking any chances. I again, finally get the guard in the room and put him right along side of the other guard. I look behind me to be sure no one is trying to creep up behind me. I think to myself "at a time like this, I can't mess up, I have to keep myself confident." I crouch and creep up to the door with my gun ready. I only have 4 more rounds, but it will have to do. I close the door and turn the door nob to avoid noise from the *click* it makes when it locks in. I look behind me, the tunnel network is blocked and the door is closed. Now I just need to sit down and find out how I'm going to kill these guys without dying myself.....


you really didnt leave me with a place to run on this one..try to leave a cliffhanger next time :D

As you contemplate your next move, you hear the sound of a radio playing in the distance, shortly after a loud explosion follows, you survey the area, to see 2 blue squad members , sitting helplessly in your sights....you have shots to spare....should you risk giving away your position for these kills? Just as you think this over, a loud roaring sound overwhelms you. Could this be your lucky break! This would mask the sound of gunfire! But what's causing that sound? For now you Survive. (+35 SXP)

I think to myself i need to out smart these guards how in the world would i do that. Suddenly quietly walking around in circles i stepped on a rock. then it hit me ill throw the rock to distract one of the guards and then make my move.I picked up the rock and crouched to make myself less visible to the sniper. As I hold the rock in my hand I look around at good areas to throw the rock. Then bam! There it was. A nice dark area under a tree. Not very visible to the human eye...at least in my case. I throw the rock in that area and the guards know somethings up over there. They run over there scanning the area making sure there aren't intruders.

Your distraction works, and you sneak down the block ducking in and out of cover, but only for a few moments, as the soldiers realize, after studying the shady area that the noise came from a thrown rock. They begin looking to see where it came from and are advancing right toward where your crouched behind cover. You are alive for now, but you must think quickly (+10 SXP)

But more detail obviously. This is where teams matter. You will effectively trying to make it 10 rounds before the other team. You can chose to spend these points or save all of them for tokens when the game is over. Whatever you chose, be careful, what goes around...comes around.



To those of you who did not post, do not fear, you may still enter the following rounds right where we are. But remember FIRST to 10 rounds wins.

"It is now nightfall, you can all hear a roar of crickets chirping away. For its own safety, the tank has retreated into the center of town, only being able to see in one direction - staring down main street. It can fire the entire distance if need be, but it will avoid block 6 where a group of soldiers have blockaded the center road now waiting to repel any direct attacks. The sniper can no longer be of use, so he has left the bell tower, disappearing out of sight. On main street, block 7, there sits two houses one on each side, be wary of these, as they are armed to the teeth with machine gun positions. You are currently at block 5. Advance with care."

I begin slowly making my way up the side of the street, crawling on my belly to make as little noise as possible. i make it to a small mound of rubble and decide it would be safe to take a quick peek over it. up ahead not far from where i am is a group of soldiers in the middle of the street, but they don't appear to be paying full attention. i should be able to sneak past them with some caution. not far from here is a short stone fence going straight up and down the street, so i crawl over to it and get behind it. still safe i think. i keep crawling up the street out of the soldier's sight until i make it to a building. there's one exactly like it across the street and the fence stops here. there's a small hole in the wall, so i look in. the whole building is a damn machine gun nest. unfortunately, i have nowhere else to go, so i slip in as quietly as possible...

Someone didn't read the rules, 1 block at a time , you jumped to block 7, please read directions before posting. Current Round is 5. So current block is 5.

You enter the building being very careful trying not to alert the enemy to your presence. Placing your weapon on a fallen piece of large rubble, you have your sights on a machine-gunner and his right hand man who are overlooking the street facing away form you. You arm your rifle, ready to take a shot. Suddenly you hear someone stumble behind you, you spin and fire...a rat gives away your position. The machine-gun crew immediately responds driving you back out of the building. As you attempt to retreat they open fire , shots scatter all around you, as you make your way back to the stone wall. There being no time to go around it you vault over it, as a shots whiz over your back, tearing parts of your shirt...barely missing. You fall back into cover behind some crates...grateful that you have been spared for now. "Next time I'll take it slow" you muttered to yourself. Just as the blue team member "gunsgunsguns" comes bolting around the far corner of the stone wall, and runs straight into you. You draw your knife at the ready, For now you survive but for how long? (+10SXP)

i see the two houses we need to get into, i decide to check the house beside one of them, i want a surprise attack, i look threw every room searching for a crack or a hole that i can sneek into the next house but there is none

i rember that some of the houses have hidden cellers and a few of them share them

i serach for the celler door, i found it in the kitchen closet under a box of broken jars, i move in, noone has found the celler to the next house and to my luck they have a jioned celler, i prepare to move but then i come up with this awesome plan

since both houses are the enemy and both are a little tired, i can go back in the other house and put and enemy uniform on over my unifrom

i do so

then i go back and i hope that the celler door isnt blocked and isnt in the open, it isnt, it comes out in a closet

i sneek in, then i see that i need to get them to kill each other off or at least get the other house to start fireing at this one

so i go back into the closet because i saw some fireworks

i say lets light these in the name of our father land in the native tounge of my enemy

so we light them

with the poping and all the other house across the street doesnt know what to think, then i shoot 2 shots at the other house and all hell breaks loose, so i run back to the closet and hide in the celler as they fire on each other

once in the celler and the door is closed i take off my fake uniform, but i put it in my utility bag incase i need it again

On top of which you completely ignored how you passed the middle emplacement of troops. Where you off to the side of it by some distance...were you right infront of it taking over and jumped through them...it seemed you teleported :D

As you advance toward the house you completely forget the middle placement of troops. They open fire on you - you try to run away, luckily the machine-gunner was distracted by someone foolishly attempting to advance too far at the same time. Bullets are scattering at your feet, you see some cover just out of your reach and bolt to it. Your almost there, shots still following you, almost there....you fall back to the 5-6th block,swing around the corner of a stone wall, and slam right into Tenkai...who draws his knife out of instinct ready to strike. Your alive but for how long? (+10 SXP)
