Alright, so I was showing my poetry to Jasper and I realized how much I loved this poem. XD Some people that are in the F3 alliance I'm planning wanted to see it, so I figured I show everyone it.
Anyways. This is a poem I made for an English Project.. I got a perfect score on it.. which was kinda funny because I never edited it and hated it until I read it to Jasper. XD
Without further ado my poem: True Meaning of Pain
I drifted away unaware of where I was going
Vibrant reds, purples, and blues danced around me
Everything seemed to lose shape as far as I could see
Feeling a sensation in the fiber of my being
For I was about to learn the true meaning of pain
The true meaning of pain
As the world around me began spinning
I felt myself losing shape as well
My body began to moan and swell
A torrent of rage and anger began swirling
For once, the world seemed to go away
The world went away
Screaming, I heard screaming
The shrill screams crescendo-ed madly
I held my head, throbbing sadly
The voice grew louder, beaming
Was I in Hell?
I was sure I was in Hell
I felt a warm liquid run down my skin
My nails had dug through the scalp of my head
I wept as I bled
Maybe this torture was just about to begin
I wept more as my body stung
My body stung
Sounds plunged into nothingness
I felt myself cry in pain but could not hear
Was I deaf in my ear?
I screamed as loud as I could but it was useless
The pain made me want to give up
I want to give up
My body was engulfed in the torrent of rage
I felt my body feel as though it was set aflame
Will I ever be the same?
It cried in its young age
Why had I not died yet?
Did I die yet?
Why was I alive?
Was I alive?
I opened my eyes
A wave of blue fell over me
How could this be?
My pleasure came in soft sighs
The pain once in my body receded
It all receded
My mangled body once burned was healing slowly
The broken bones softly mended
I cried for the soothing it lended
My tears came down, not of fear, but of glee
Sounds came back to me
I smiled as the sounds came back to me
Sounds of rippling waves caressed my senses
The wave of blue felt tranquil and serene
I felt I entered a new world, aquamarine
My body cooed lightly as it lay down its defenses
Was I in heaven?
I was sure I was in heaven
I laughed and giggled in disbelief
Pristine light shone over my head
My giggling continued, not much to be said
Finally I had found some relief
The world slowly took shape in front of me
A world was coming to me
My body began to take its shape as well
All that had happened seemed a far distant memory
It had ended almost too abruptly
I felt myself in a free fall, starting to accel
I fell to the ground of the new world
Vibrant reds, purples, and blues danced in my mind
I tried to open my eyes again, but I was blind
My mind tried to focus but was in a whirl
For I had learned the true meaning of pain
The true meaning of pain
I am open to critiques and comments.
. If you feel I need to improve on something from this poem, please let me know. Anyways. I hope you enjoyed.
