After the PC fail of Modern Warfare 2 (Which I got up to prestige 6 and stopped playing for those dedicated hours that I had been playing for) I decided to move my attention to the next awaited game, Battlefield Bad Company 2.
As a loyal follower of the Battlefield Franchise (Playing every single battlefield) I'm getting a new PC just for the direct 11 support that the frostwire engine wants
So, I'm starting this topic to see who else from the BD community is playing the game for the PC, as I don't own a console (but I must say MW2 for the console is much much better)
Anyway, I was looking to start up a small clan if anyone was interested, as my roommate will also be playing the game nonstop (we're engineers, it's what we do xD)
If you guys aren't up to par with the news, you can check out all the latest trailers on youtube or whatnot, but BC2 is looking cooler than ever with the entirely destructible environments, squad gameplay, etc. etc. etc.
Just throwing it out there, when the new games come out, I'll be sure to post something about that as well.

I might buy it, but not for sure. LordPanawa wrote: So, I'm starting this topic to see who else from the BD community is playing the game for the PC, as I don't own a console (but I must say MW2 for the console is much much better)
Told you Zul.

Told you Zul. I'll never believe any FPS is better on the console than it is for PC. About BC2, I need it. I played BC1 demo (that's as far as I got) and I loved playing the Engineer and flying a heli successfully. BC1 wasn't on the PC though, so I didn't bother with it, but BC2 is?

Even I agree that no FPS is better on the console, but MW2 was just poorly made for the PC (as you can probably tell)
but like all consoles that have aim assist, I don't agree with that -__-
however, that is another topic, which I may start if I decide to rant about infinityward and activision
lets stay on topic
Preordering BC2 from gamestop will get you the beta for the PC sometime around Janurary (which I already preordered, so I'll be on as well)
And yes, BC2 is for the PC, with dedicated servers, large multiplayer maps, full squadplay and a campaign as well hahaa
just go to the bc2 website http://badcompany2.ea.com/
and all the info is there

Sounds heavy on the graphic card and processor. The first was beautiful, especially with the frostbite engine. Seemed like a lot to process indeed. Squad Deathmatch looks awesome, and it's only £24.99 from GAME online... I'm sold! Now to acquire the dough...

I'm getting a whole new computer rig just for this game
It's one of the games that actually support DirectX11
it's going to be godly with the frostwire engine with the completely destructible environments
I fell in love
So now I have to hope that it doesn't turn out to be a fail, but I'm pretty positive that Dice won't let us down

Sweet. I'm just looking for a gaming PC right now. Ones that cheap too, I'm young and don't have much cash. XD
This one doesn't support graphics and everything, but I might get the game. =/

Hmmm .... have you ever thought of building your own? ... its typically cheaper, but takes more time
I got my PC off of cyberpowerpc ... it was actually pretty cheap with all of the bells and whistles that came with it hahaha
but how much money do you have to spend on a computer though?

Yeah, I was talking about EmpireBattles yesterday about building one. I have about 900 USD to spend. But the Christmas special of $579 for a PC is gone. D:
So I'm thinking I buy one for about 700-800 USD then buy or get the Windows 7 package. =/
